Because guitarists and drummers frequently change, it was not surprising KISS had to perform twice with just three members. 1992 was the first time it occurred when Frehley was deciding whether or not to leave the band. It also happened again in 2007 when Stanley was unexpectedly hospitalized before a show. It is the only KISS performance Stanley has ever missed. That is dedication!

A wrestling group called “The Warriors of Kiss” was formed by KISS and World Championship Wrestling in 1999. The group included wrestlers chosen to represent each member of the band, as well as female counterparts. According to Simmons, “big girls with big boobs, dressed in KISS makeup were going to wrestle.” That sounded great for ratings, but the schedule couldn’t be worked out as a result of WCW politics.
